What kind of photographer are you?
My work has been described as natural, relaxed, fun, and sentimental. Family sessions combine traditional, documentary, and lifestyle photography to capture genuine images for you to treasure for a lifetime.
As your photographer, I will provide a generous gallery of images that you can treasure for years to come. These photographs will be an investment in your family history. I focus on capturing connection over stiff awkward poses.
For newborns, sessions are baby-led with a blend of simple, posed studio images and natural family moments.
Where are you located?
I’m based in Ipswich but do cover the Lockyer Valley and Western suburbs of Brisbane too!
Where will my session be held?
Family sessions are held in the late afternoon at one of my outdoor locations within Ipswich, Lockyer Valley or Western Brisbane regions. We can also use a special location of your own choosing too.
Newborn sessions are held in my cozy home studio in Ipswich that is also available for motherhood, maternity or baby portraits.
When do newborn sessions happen?
It is recommended to book in 3 months prior to your due date to be added to my calendar. Once baby arrives, a session is ideally scheduled within the first 2 weeks after birth.

What should I wear?
-I always find clients are so much more comfortable if they’re wearing clothes they feel confident and comfortable in, don’t test out those new super high jeans, go for something you’ve worn before and you know you feel good in.
-Go for loose, flowy , natural fabrics like linen, cottons etc that will move with you.
-Neutral, earthy colors such as beige, grey, white, black, denim, rust, mustard, blush, blue all look beautiful in the locations I generally shoot at.
-Avoid large prints, patterns and any large graphics or logos
-Avoid being too matchy, matchy – Ideally your outfits will compliment each other but not blend into each other.
Do I receive all of the digital images?
Newborn sessions include 10 carefully edited digital images, with the option to upgrade your gallery and purchase more if you wish.
All other sessions (maternity, baby milestone, and family) are all-inclusive, meaning you’ll receive your full gallery of beautifully edited images at no extra cost.
